CROYDON VOLLEY BALL CENTRE

Croydon Volleyball Centre (CVC) is a National Lottery and Sport England funded project that launched in October 2011.

CVC will be a hub for volleyball players, coaches, referees and volunteers for Croydon and South London with extra training sessions and matches every week.

The centre is a specialist volleyball venue with state-of-the art facilities and equipment that will also offer fitness sessions for the local community.

Emanuel Balsamo, Croydon Volleyball Director commented; "The grant award is really great news for volleyball in South London and I'd like to thank Sport

England for supporting our project. Volleyball is a really fun sport that everyone can enjoy and I'm confident that we will see participation rise exponentially through our new Croydon Volleyball Centre.

The funding enables us to offer more training sessions per week for adults and juniors, and continue to provide free membership to all U18 juniors, which is central to our mission of giving young people opportunities, confidence and enjoyment through sport."
