New players are always welcome. The club's junior academy offers free training session for all U18's and several players have achieved international honours.
Season 2011-12 sees the launch of the state-of-the-art Croydon Volleyball Centre.

July 2011: Boys Runners-Up in London Youth Games
Croydon Boys Volleyball Team

Croydon Boys reached the Finals of the LYG at Crystal Palace in style, playing some fantastic attacking volleyball.

They won an exciting semi-final against Kensington & Chelsea 2-0 (25-23, 28-26) infront of a big crowd to reach the Grand Final.

Unfortunately, they lost to title holders Wandsworth but can be very proud of their achievements and hard work this season.


June 2011: Jermaine Miles chosen to launch the Olympic Torch
Jermaine MilesCroydon VC’s outstanding Jermaine Miles was given the honour of launching the Olympic torch with Seb Coe at St.Pancras Station.

The 16 yr old England Junior International was the highest scorer at The European Youth Championships in Latvia earlier this year, as well as playing a key part in Croydon’s U16 National Cup Semi-Final and LYG run.

 


May 2011: Ladies promoted to London Premiership
Ladies Volleyball TeamCroydon Ladies secured back to back promotions after a sensational season in London League Division 1.
They will now compete in a league that is comparable to National League Super 8 standard.

The squad includes 16yr old Olivia Beasley and 14yr old Grace Lazard who have been selected for the England Junior team. New players are welcome to join the squad for 2011-12.

July 2010: Girls win the London Youth Games
Croydon girls In one of the largest junior sporting events in Europe, Croydon girls produced some terrific performances to win the London Youth Games Volleyball title.

An emphatic semi-final win against holders Havering (25-13, 25-16) set up a final against Kingston, who were also dispatched in straight sets.

Fantastic achievement! !
